Valmeinier is surrounded by nature, being near two national parks, those of the Ecrins and of Vanoise. This resort, with its ideal quantity of snow and sunshine, also allows night-owls to complete their day spent in the fresh mountain air. The residence l'Ours Blanc of Odalys Vacances is situated 200m from the slopes and 50m from the shops. It is built in the typical regional style and blends in perfectly with the rest of the resort's traditional architecture. All the apartments, ranging from the studio apartment for 4 persons to the 3 room apartment with mezzanine for 8 persons, are fully equipped: kitchenette (electric hotplate, mini-oven, dishwasher), bathroom with bath or shower, generally separate toilet, television (additional fee) and balcony or terrace. The following perks are available as well: ski lockers, fee-paying indoor car park( with limited number of places). Wonderful ski vacations are guaranteed by the skiing area connecting Valmeinier with Valloire and comprising 85 ski slopes (150 km), 34 ski lifts and 10 km of cross-country skiing tracks.
