The Pousada de Mafra – Palace of the Marquis is the most recent accommodation of the Mafra council.|Located in a historic and cultural environment with more than ten centuries of History, 30 minutes from Lisbon, 10 minutes from Ericeira (known for its beautiful beaches), 10-minutes walk from the town centre and from the National Palace, the Pousada de Mafra offers a convenient and comfortable solution with an infrastructure built for our guests well-being.|Our purpose is to offer to our clients a new experience, combining the tranquillity and comfort of the space, in addition to an enjoyment of its ancient gardens, meeting spaces for sports, walking, reflection, relaxation and contemplation.||With 15 rooms of different types (single, double and family) and about 50 beds, we are open to all kind of visitors.||Since 2019, the municipality of Mafra is charging tourist tax, which is not included in the reservation price. From 1 January to 31 April - € 1 per person / night; 1 May to 31 October - € 2 per person / night; 1 November to 31 December - € 1 per person / night. This fee must be paid upon check in.||Reception hours: 8:30am - 10:00pm; Check-in hours: 3:00pm - 9:30pm|Note: An additional fee will be charged to all guests who do not meet the expected check-in time.
