NH Collection Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi

Guests will be fascinated by the structure that seems to be suspended between the blue sky and the deep blue sea with a majestic infinity pool overlooking the sea. Originally a 13th-century monastery, the hotel is situated in the middle of the Amalfi Coast, along which, to the north, can be reached Positano and to the south, Vietri sul Mare. The hotel is just 10 minutes' walking to the city centre and local attractions. Nearly all 53 rooms face the sea and are decorated in neutral tones and elegant furnishings. The hotel has two restaurants: “Kyushu” (available from April to October - inclusive), open for dinner, with an indoor area and an outdoor area, offering unique dishes created by chef Julian Marmol who combines Mediterranean tradition with the best of Japanese cuisine; “La Locanda” for delicious outdoor lunch prepared at the moment, near the pool and with sea views. An outdoor Infinity Pool (heated for the cooler months) offers spectacular, uninterrupted views of the Amalfi coast, while, during the coldest periods, the hotel also features an indoor heated pool. The spa offers a sauna and Turkish bath, as well as a gym with modern facilities. The large Presidential Suite lends itself as a refined space for meetings, for up to 30 participants. The cozy reading room, however, can accommodate groups up to 15 people. For weddings, the hotel offers its cloister from the 13th century as well as a consecrated Catholic church. Located next to the reception, the elegant Bar Dei Cappuccini offers a sophisticated drinks menu, snacks and cocktails and it has an outdoor terrace with sea views.
