The surroundings of the hotel are the polder landscape of De Ronde Veren, is exceptionally suitable for beautiful walking and cycling trips. For a day's great shopping and visiting museums, Amsterdam and Utrecht are good options or if guest prefer to be on the water, they can hire a boat at Vinkeveense Plassen. Flower fans can visit the Aalsmeer flower auction during the week, and the Keukenhof in the spring.
