This hotel is housed within a historical building that dates back to the early 19th century that is located at the heart of Rome, between the basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, Santa Giovanni Lateranus and Santa Croce in Gerusalemme. The Coliseum and Forum Romanum are situated within walking distance of the hotel, as are underground, tram and bus links, as well as the Roma Termini main railway station, which simplify any city tour. It is 25 kms to the airport. The highly trained hotel staff is on hand to provide guests with tourist information such as maps, tours and other goings-on in the city that allow the beauty of Rome to be fully enjoyed. All rooms have been recently renovated. Selected rooms afford views out over the inner courtyard, whilst others overlook a terrace featuring lush plants and flowers and some look out onto the busy main street.||Please be informed that from November 25th 2019 and to January 31st 2020, hotel Taormina will start the renovation works of the breakfast room. During this period, breakfast will be served in a Bar just few meters from the Hotel.
