Saint François Longchamp is a traditional alpine village in magnificent surroundings. It lies between the Lauziere mountain range and the Cheval Noir massif. The large skiing area of Saint François Longchamp-Valmorel, the fifth-largest in the Savoy region, situated just below the Madeleine pass, links the Maurienne and the Tarentaise regions.
